Very attractive purple leafed tree, shrub or hedge. Hardy. Will tolerate wind, full sun and drought. Colour is enhanced in full sun and poor soils. Can be easily trimmed to form a hardy hedge or screen. Looks good interplanted between pittosporums for contrast.
Not good in very heavy frosts.
